Avenue of Flags

With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for dealing with this challenge. Avenue of Flags shows visual support of the Akron Community helping various Not-For-Profits in the area and funding other Community based service projects. Contact us to learn more about our commitment to this cause. 

 

In 2024 we helped the Rotary Club, St. Teresa's Youth Ministry, Trinity Church, Akron HS Cheerleaders, Akron Women's Soccer, The Girl Scouts, The Akron HS Class of 2024, The Akron High School Football Team and the Lady Lions.  We support the Akron Celebration Committee for the annual July Fireworks and New Year's Eve Celebration.

We are looking for more organizations to help with 2025.  We can use more groups. Money raised also supported service projects in the area such as Victor Pavilion, The Splash Pad in Russell Park, the Rock Garden in Akron Falls and the Fence by St. John's Cemetary.

in front of your home from dawn to dusk on 4 Major Patriot Holidays: 

Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, & Labor Day. We are changing our service for Veteran's Day. Instead of doing each subscriber's home, we are going to be placing several flags at Veteran's Park in honor of our Veterans.  This is much safer for our volunteers who were servicing routes in the dark.  We DO NOT want any of our volunteers to be harmed while being involved with this program. Please visit Veteran's Park on November 11th.

This is limited to the certain parts of Akron/Newstead.

Cost for the year is $50.00.  All proceeds support local charities, youth activities and community service projects.  We are now accepting subscriptions for 2025.

There is NO AUTO-RENEW due to changes in WIX.  Everyone needs to renew each year.  Please subscribe now.
